I was very happy with my meal. The lady that took my order was very patient and considerate of my needs, I am pregnant and wanted specific requirements from food, and she was very patient. And my sushi came out very delicious, the fish was properly cooked and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Me and my man will definitely be coming back

I have been to Todoroki multiple times usually for special occasions like our anniversary or birthdays or just an excuse to have a dynamic experience! Last night we were treated very well by the staff and were able to make a reservation for Hibachi the same evening. We love the Tiger roll which is fried and comes out warm. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous. We did the dinner for two which allows for more meat choices and is a great value. Tip is already included which I find helpful.

Last time I ordered fried rice from here it was delicious and so flavorful. Today it tasted like plain rice was just quickly cooked with veggies without any sauces, spices, or much egg. The veggies weren’t good either. It truly tasted like there was almost no seasoning. It was not great. Then to make things worse I found a human hair in my food… Please do better

The place, people, and food were all fantastic!! The staff were all friendly and attentive. I came in late at night on a weekday so there was plenty of open seating and you seat yourself. My food also came quickly because I was one of the only people there. The ambience was nice; the lighting and furniture were a nice blend of fancy and cozy. There was music playing but it was not so loud as to drown out conversation. My pre-tip bill was $50, but I ordered an appetizer, two entrees, and dessert. Each entree was ~$15-$17, the lava cake was $9, and the crispy tuna was ~$7-8 (the rest of the $50 was tax). I ordered the Crispy Tuna Small Plate (appetizer) and it was delicious. The crab puffs were gently crispy on the outside and warm on the inside, and the spicy tuna on top was delicious! They came in a set of 5, but I had indulged in two of them before I remembered to take a picture. For my main meal I ordered the Tiger roll (right-hand side) and the Moonlit Ocean roll (left). Both were fantastic in their own ways; the Moonlit was crisp and refreshing and the tiger roll was spicy and filling. Our chef and waitress were super charming -- I'd probably come back for them alone. Portions are VERY generous and prepared as requested. There's not much else I can say that other positive reviews haven't already said. Great food, amazing staff experience, good atmosphere. The only negative thing worth mentioning is that you might have a hard time finding parking directly outside (in Evanston, shocking I know)
